Traditional Monogram Placement Guidelines

3 LETTER PLACEMENT
Traditional 3 letter initial placement: 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩, 𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙏, 𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙙𝙡𝙚. The TALL center letter represents the last name. The large letter with a smaller letter on each side of it. Last name initial is the larger one in the center, with first name initial to the left, and middle name initial to the right.
Jessica Nicole Smith - JSN

NO MIDDLE NAME
A 2-letter monogram where both letters are the same size, in the placement order of first name initial and last name initial.
Jessica Smith - JS

COUPLES
3-letter monogram, consists of a large letter with a smaller letter on each side. Couple’s shared last name initial is the larger one in the center, wife’s first name initial to the left, husband’s first name initial to the right.
